Your site includes a virtual folder named _ (underscore). This folder is not included in listings of your site's root folder, but is accessed as though it were located in your site's root folder.

This folder is used by the Snapshots feature, as well as for browsing any defined Remote Servers or Child Sites for your site.

Required Permissions

You must be a site administrator to access the contents of the system folder, which can be accessed through any official Files.com SDK. You cannot access the _ folder through protocol access, such as FTP or SFTP.

Restrictions

Site administrators cannot make changes directly in the _ folder of your site because it is system-controlled.

Some of the sub-folders of the _ folder can be modified, such as the folder for an un-finalized Snapshot, or the contents of a Remote Server or Child Site.
