NFS

NFS is the Network File System, another technology used for making remote storage show up as a local drive. NFS is popular in Linux and UNIX based environments, though it also works on macOS.

The Files.com Agent can be used to connect your NFS mounts with Files.com. Run the Agent on any system that has NFS mounts to provide persistent connectivity to folders and files on those NFS mounts.

If you need to migrate large volumes of data into Files.com from an NFS mount, we recommend using the Files.com Command Line App (CLI). The CLI App is a great option for one-time, or adhoc, data migration.

If you are a Microsoft Azure customer then you can use our Azure Files integration to connect Files.com to your Azure Files file sharesExternal LinkThis link leads to an external website and will open in a new tab and then use the NFS functionality of Azure Files to mount the file share using NFS.
