Microsoft Azure Files can be connected as a Remote Server Mount, making your Azure Files storage content available in real time, or connected as a Remote Server Sync, allowing you to push, pull, or synchronize files between Azure Files storage and other Files.com storage locations. You can connect with a Microsoft Azure Files share located in any Microsoft Azure region.

Integrating Files.com with Microsoft Azure Files allows your users to access Azure Files shares through Files.com, using a web browser, SFTP, FTP(S), AS2, WebDAV, the Files.com Desktop App, the Files.com Mobile App, or the Files.com Command Line (CLI) App.

Files.com integrates with Microsoft Azure Files using the Microsoft Azure APIs via HTTPS, providing secure encrypted data transmission between the two platforms.

About Microsoft Azure Files

Microsoft Azure Files provides fully managed file shares in the cloud, accessible via the SMB and NFS protocols.

Azure Files shares can be mounted concurrently by cloud or on-premises deployments of Windows, macOS, and Linux. It enables file sharing between applications running in your virtual machines using familiar Windows APIs or the Azure Files REST API. Additionally, Azure File Sync allows caching and synchronization of Azure Files shares on Windows Servers for local access.

Files.com supports direct integration with Microsoft Azure Files.

Integration Options

The Files.com integration to Microsoft Azure Files allows you to Mount a Microsoft Azure Files file share directly into Files.com as a folder. Alternatively, you can Sync a folder or folders on a one-way or two-way basis with the Microsoft Azure Files file share.

You can connect with any Microsoft Azure region, even if it's in a region where Files.com doesn't natively offer service.
